These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) together with any rules published on the Website, including the Privacy Policy (hereinafter the “Policy”) and the Charitable Donation Offer Agreement (hereinafter the “Offer”), constitute a complete legally binding agreement between you (the “User”, “You”) and the Charitable Organization “Charitable Fund ‘Rays of Light and Hope’”

This agreement governs your use of the website (the “Website”), as well as all text, data, information, etc. (collectively, the “Content”) and the collection of charitable donations via the Website.

We reserve the right to make any changes to these Terms. To stay informed about the current changes in the Website’s operation, we recommend that you review this page periodically.

By using the Website, you represent and warrant that: in accordance with the laws of your country you are legally competent and have the right to enter into this agreement; the laws of your country do not restrict your use of the Website; and you comply with these Terms, understand their content, and the relevant legal requirements. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this Website.


1. Activities of the Fund

The activities of the Fund are charitable in nature and are not aimed at generating profit.


2. Objectives of the Fund

In order to achieve the objectives set forth in its Charter, the Fund shall:

  • Raise funds and collect items from donors – natural persons (both residents and non-residents), legal entities, charitable organizations, including international ones;
  • Organize the management of the collected funds with the aim of preserving and increasing the funds used for providing assistance;
  • Provide assistance, as well as develop and implement programs aimed at achieving the Fund’s objectives;
  • Perform other tasks aimed at fulfilling the Fund’s mission.

3. Terms for Providing a Charitable Donation

The provision of a charitable donation is governed by the Offer.

For the purpose of monitoring the charitable donations made and subscribing to/cancelling regular charitable donations in the form of daily/weekly/monthly payments, the User may create a personal account. A personal account may also be created by the Fund automatically for the User after the User has made a charitable donation via the Website. The personal data of the User stored in such an account are governed by the Fund’s Privacy Policy.

Please Note: Charitable donations are processed by payment service providers and are governed by their terms of use and privacy policies. The Fund has no influence over the fees or exchange rates applied by such providers. Under no circumstances shall the Fund be responsible for the payment information you provide, which is processed by these providers in accordance with their privacy policies. Users may also send humanitarian aid to the Fund. The list of items collected by the Fund is published on the Website and is continuously updated. Instructions on how to send items can be found here.


4. Reports and Accountability

  • A list of received charitable donations is published on the Website in real time.
  • Reports on the use of charitable donations are published on the Website on a weekly basis.
  • A report on the procurement of equipment, as well as the total amount of donations received and funds spent for each previous month, is presented on the Fund’s Website.
  • An annual report on the use of income (profits) of the non-profit organization, in the prescribed format, is submitted to the State Tax Service of Ukraine.

5. Website Content

The content of the Website is owned and controlled by the Fund. If any materials currently on or to be published on the Website belong to third parties under copyright law, such materials may only be published on the Website with the author’s consent. The use of any materials without the prior consent of the Fund or the relevant authors is prohibited.

Subject to compliance with these Terms, the Fund grants the User a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to:

  • Use the Website from your personal devices in accordance with these Terms;
  • Access and view any Content on the Website solely for personal, non-commercial use.

By downloading or creating copies of the Content, you do not acquire any additional rights beyond those specified above. You agree not to reproduce, publish, transmit, distribute, modify, create derivative works, or otherwise use the Content for commercial or illegal purposes without our prior written consent. You also agree not to alter or remove any copyright notices from materials downloaded or printed from the Website.

The Fund is responsible for the targeted use of the charitable donations in accordance with the applicable laws of Ukraine.

The Fund’s Website is provided on an “as is” basis. The Fund shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages, expenses, losses, or liabilities arising from your access to, use of, inability to use, or modification of the Website Content or any other website linked on the Website. The Fund is also not responsible for the maintenance of the materials displayed on the Website or for any corrections, updates, or modifications made to the information therein. All materials on the Website may be changed without prior notice.


9. Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

The Fund conducts its activities in accordance with the laws of Ukraine. Any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with the use of the Website shall be resolved by the courts of Ukraine in accordance with the applicable law. Users accessing the Website from outside Ukraine additionally agree to comply with the laws of their country of residence and to assume liability under the applicable legislation. The Fund also reserves the right to restrict access to the Website for any individual or geographical region at any time without prior notice.
